Language courses
The Summer Immersion Program is great way to learn or to deepen your knowledge of the French language and the French-speaking world. If you already speak French, you’ll enjoy an opportunity to develop your language skills in other languages.
Based on dynamic teaching methods, the courses take a participative approach that emphasizes conversation and culture. For example, you’ll participate in simulations of everyday activities, discussions about current events and introductions to emerging music.
Developing your language skills will make it easier for you to interact with other international participants and expand your circle of friends!
Prior to their arrival, participants will take an online placement test so they can be assigned to groups according to their level of understanding of the language.

Experience the fan frenzy at a varsity game, join the conversation in a student café and the many living spaces, benefit from the many services, take advantage of our language labs, lecture halls, libraries and sports facilities or take part in one of the many summer activities across the campus.

Admission Process

Apply for admission
Review all the required documents and complete the online application.

Reserve your place
Once you’ve been accepted into the program, you must return the signed commitment contract and pay a deposit to reserve your place.

Choose your workshops
In the weeks after you reserve your place, you’ll be invited to choose your workshop themes, plus your sports and socio-cultural activities, from our many possibilities.
4
Get ready for your trip!
Your final acceptance letter will be sent once you’ve chosen your activities. Keep it in case you need to start the steps to entering Canada.
