After classes and on weekends, the Summer Immersion Program encourages students to discover Montreal and enjoy the countryside which is only a few kilometres from the bustle of the city. It’s impossible to be bored when Canada’s great outdoors are so close. In short, the program offers a perfect mix of outdoor getaways and cultural and heritage activities! Simply love at first sight.
Students will be able to enjoy a wide-range of sports activities during their stay.

Badminton is a racket sport played with two to four opposing players. The goal of the game is to hit a shuttlecock over the net, within the limits of the opposing side, such that it is difficult for the opposing player(s) to return the shuttlecock at their turn.
Basketball is a group sport played by two opposing teams of five players on a rectangular court. The objective is to score points by throwing the ball into a basket.

Visit a sugar shack, an essential part of Quebec culture, to taste traditional local dishes and discover maple products.
Cheerleading consists of a mix of acrobatics, floor gymnastics, dance, and jumps, all set to dynamic music. The acrobatic portion includes making a human pyramid, gymnastic elements focus on tumbling and the dance portion can be done with or without pompons.
Experience circus arts at their most exhilarating! Watch a spectacular performance combining poetry, staging, daring acrobatics and technology, all exploring the delicate balance between humans and animals. Join us under the Big Top.
Dragon Boat is a water sport which uses enormous rowboats that can contain up to twenty rowers. Side by side, the crew paddle at a synchronized rythme on a calm body of water. No experience is needed to practice this safe activity that will work on your collaboration & team working skills!
Dating back to the 17th century, Old Montreal is the historic heart of the city of Montreal. Stroll its storied cobblestone streets and step back into Quebec's history.
As twilight falls, follow a compelling storyteller through the streets of Old Montreal. Listen to their haunting tales of mystery as you stroll past outdoor locations where unexplained phenomena, disappearances and other sorcery have capture the imagination.
Accompanied by experienced counselors the students will tour a section of the splendid Rouge River by kayak. They will make stops on the small beaches along the course to take a bit of sun. You’ve never been in a kayak? No problem! This activity is developed for beginners: no prior experience required!
Kin-Ball is a group sport created in Quebec. It is played with a very large ball, with a diameter of 1,22 meters. There are two opposing teams of four players. The ball is served to the opposing team so that they cannot return the ball before it hits the ground.

Climb up to the observation deck on iconic Mount Royal for a stunning view of the city of Montreal.
Follow the Museum's interpreter-guides through the remains and artifacts of the past to discover the story of Montreal's founders and builders. A unique and dynamic way to retrace the city's history!
Rock climbing is a sport that consists of advancing vertically along a natural or artificial rock wall until reaching the top. It can take the form of bouldering (smaller height, no equipment) or on higher walls, with safety equipment. Strength, flexibility, endurance and balance are key to succeeding in this sport.
Soccer is a group sport played mostly with the feet, on grass or on a floor. It is the world’s most popular sport.
Participants learn different jumps and forms on the trampolines at CEPSUM. The acrobatics that the students learn will allow them to develop their overall motor skills.
